brass with leather wrap, slid and lid to protect the lenses. The lid with engraved inscription which states
that in the year 1889 a man called K. Adel gave it as a gift to an unnamed Foundation. Measurement
app.: 10 .4” closed and 32 .6” when opened. ( 26 cm. x 81,5 cm) Condition: one of the
inside lenses damaged, but nevertheless the optic is perfect, as shown. traces of use and age.
